our little morning

I love it when the sunlight pours in through the windows in the mornings.  There's such a calm energy to it.  As Rhys refers to all tomorrows, or a new day, it's a "mystery" day.  We never know what will happen.

Rhys woke me up at 6:30 this morning for a little bit of help with some potty related issues, and I couldn't go back to sleep.  So, I got up with Tyler1 as he got ready for work.  It was fun.  A nice little quiet time to actually talk without being interrupted by 500 million children (perhaps a slight exaggeration).

Right before he left, Ella woke up and came out.  She gave nice morning snuggles and then Tyler was off for work.  Ella and I sat down to have breakfast...

...which really turned into Ella having breakfast and me stalking her from behind a chair with my camera.

Cause I'm cool like that.

And maybe slightly creepy.

Except not.

Did I mention our little Ella had a birthday this week?  She turned 4.

Yes, for real.  She turned 4.

We haven't celebrated it yet, but we will be soon.  I suspect it will be a rather entertaining party due to the odd theme that she has chosen.  I will post about that in another post.

But for now, here's Miss Ella enjoying her breakfast:
Eating a little bit of this...a little bit of that...

 Cheerios trying to escape.

Such a cute girl.
